75 Hard Challenge
One of the very best things I have done so far in 2021 was Andy Frisella's 75 Hard Challenge. The challenge is describes as a mental toughness challenge. I feel going through the 75 days challenged me mentally but it also made me realize that I have the drive and determination to complete any task that I set my mind to. Following the program gave me something to focus on and one that bettered my health, physique, and myself as a person. I started this program right after a break-up, which helped me keep my mind busy and move on all while becoming a better version of myself. There were nights that I was doing jumping jacks, squats, push ups, jumping rope at 11:00pm in the rain in my backyard. I did let all my neighbors know what was going on just incase they were concerned about my sanity.
I used the Tough Habits App to track my daily progress. It was my third attempt at starting the challenge before I was actually successful. When I got to day 75 I felt so great that I kept going and actually completed 100days. On the 100th day I had a friends wedding, so I figured it would be the perfect time to complete my challenge and celebrate. I highly recommend this challenge for anyone who is looking to make a change in their life for the better.
Overall I only lost 4 pounds but as you can see in the picture there is a definite body composition change. I redefined by body as well as my mind and soul.
